My first post

Last week I discovered this wonderful Glorious applique blog. And I decieded to join you all.

Last summer in July I started my Kim Mc.Lean quilt Hearts & Flowers. The photo above shows my centre block of the quilt.

This a detail of one of the corners of the centre block.

And of course the central piece "The heart".

I really enjoyed the reading of all your stories of your own projects.

And from now on I will tell you about my progress on the quilt.

And Pam, thanks for the invitation for this blog !!!!!

  11. Hi Willeke, how stunning your centre is! I just love the fabric choices you've made. The centre fabric goes really well with the purple and pink borders. That is one of my favourite fabric, it was also available in the orange version and I'm down to the last bits.
I have been thrilled to see so many gorgeous version of this quilt, it is so humbling. I always wondered how many people would be doing my designs when I'm drawing them, and thanks to Pam, now I know! Cheers, Kim McL
