I completed another block for the Roseville Album. I must say those cactus flowers were a bit trying.

I began working on the house panel for a bit of change of pace.

  5. It's a fabulous block even with all the curly bits. Congratulations on finishing it.

  6. Even if it was challenging, your block came out beautifully Mary! Very nice colors for that block. I have a general question: How does everyone feel about pressing their applique blocks? Do you feel it flattens the applique too much? Do you have a technique such as ironing it from the back on a terry cloth towel to keep the applique puffier? Or is life too short to worry about it too much?

    1. Sally, I ironed the first couple blocks when completed, but decided that it was a wasted effort and will wait until I start assembling. Then, I do them using the towel method.
